Emma Stone Smokey Eye Makeup Tutorial

I love awards season because we get to see all the celebrities at their best.  This year at the Golden Globes, there were a couple of common makeup trends; the first was very natural barely there makeup and the second was red lips.  Emma Stone however stood out from the pack with her sultry smoky eyes.  This was a great look to recreate because it's great for a night out but it's simple enough that anyone can pull off this look.

NEW WORK - Pinnacle Hotel

I had the pleasure of working on this shoot for the Pinnacle Hotel with photographer Martin Tessler.  It was a lifestyle shoot, so for most of the looks I kept the makeup and hair really natural.  For the wedding look, I did a simple up do with the models hair to make the look a bit more glamorous.  You can see a lot more pictures on the Pinnacle Hotel website http://pinnaclepierhotel.com/

New Editorial - Plaid Magazine

The perfect way to start the New Year is with a hot new editorial.  Check out this editorial for Plaid Magazine with photographer Alan Chan.  The location of the shoot was at the Vancouver Museum.  There was a lot going on with the background and the styling so I wanted to keep the makeup and hair quite simple.  I concentrated on perfecting the models skin and doing a little bit of shading around her eyes.  Her hair was really long so I wanted to sleek it out and really polished.  To see more go to Plaid Magazine http://plaidmag.com/2012/01/in-the-mix/

Also check out the video below of Behind-The-Scenes of the shoot.  I'm always so short beside the models!!
