New Work - Fashion Editorial

I did a photo shoot a few weeks ago with photographer Eydis Einarsdottir, someone I've been wanting to work with for a while so I was very excited when I got the chance to. The shoot was shot at Sugar Studios, one of the top studios in Vancouver. It was a very fun, creative collaboration and I got to work with stylist Krista Sung, who did a fabulous job with the styling. Makeup and hair were both kept a bit more simple for this shoot to offset the elaborate wardrobe and accessories.

Become a makeup artist

One of the most common questions I get asked is how I got started as a makeup artist. At the beginning of my career, I went to Vancouver Community College for the makeup artistry certificate program. It was a wonderful experience and set me on my path of becoming a makeup artist. I recently had the pleasure of doing a interview with VCC and you can read the full article here http://www.vcc.ca/about-vcc/news.cfm?NEWS_ID=7578

For anyone interested in the Makeup Artistry Certificate Program available at VCC you can contact the school directly to find out more.
